Greetings to all our followers.

We may be in the midst of summer but we are also only four months away from our leather weekend, so we assume (and hope) that our friends from abroad planning to join us in Athens in late November are currently making travel arrangements. We are therefore posting a further update on the programme of the 4th Athens Leather Weekend

First of all, we are very excited to announce that, during our Leather Social on Friday night, Dave the Bear will be performing for us live at Big Bar Athens.

Dave is a much-loved performer, singer and producer based in Brighton, UK, known for his playful stage presence and bold, irreverent shows. We’re extremely grateful to him for agreeing to travel to Athens and cannot wait to welcome him then.

Furthermore, following your responses to our poll on additional events for the weekend, we have added a BDSM workshops event that will run in SMUT Athens on Saturday night, shortly before the start of the main event of that night in the same venue. We are delighted to welcome two instructors.

One presenter is Master Dart, a US-based BDSM practitioner and educator with more than 30 years of experience of presenting on topics such as bondage and transformation play, who has been actively involved in major events such as Leather Pride Amsterdam or International Mr. Leather.

Master Dart will be presenting together with his husband, Sir Bart, a workshop on predicament bondage. We feel truly honoured to welcome them both and very much look forward to their workshop.

The other presenter is our own Stratos, also known as Thoughtful Sadist, who will lead a session on impact play. Stratos is the founder of Impact Play Social in London, an event dedicated to supporting safe, consensual kink practices and building a community grounded in knowledge and mutual respect. We are thrilled to have him with us and cannot wait for his demonstration.

The programme for this year’s weekend is now our richest ever, without, we’d like to think, feeling too busy. There are also a couple of other events being discussed, such as presentations on the psychology of kink as well as on fetish and healthcare, again following from suggestions, but these are yet to be confirmed. Our next post on ALW26 will announce the final programme.

We hope this latest news makes you as excited as we are about the weekend and gives you one more reason to book travel and accommodation for 20-22 November 2026. At the moment, this is shaping up to be our most ambitious Athens Leather Weekend – and it is set to be a blast!

And if you do plan to join us, please don't forget to register for the event!
