COMING UP: XXXMAS KINK WEEKEND!

Greetings everyone,

Just as we’re still recovering from the great weekend we had in Athens a couple of weeks ago, we are also very glad to announce some more events coming up in town in just a couple of weeks’ time, that together may be seen as an informal XXXMas Kink Weekend, running in Athens on 19–21 December.

Our own little contribution is our monthly Leather Social at Big Bar Athens on Friday the 19th of December. The last iteration of this event during our Athens Leather Weekend was surely one of the highlights of the weekend, and we can’t wait to return and keep up the momentum.

The major event of the weekend, however, is Kronia Fest, a festival run by our community partners Satyrs and Maenads, who typically organise the annual Athens Porn Film Festival but also various other events throughout the year, such as this one. Originally, the Kronia was a festival dedicated to Kronos in ancient Greece, characterised by an overthrow of the status quo, gift-giving, and gambling. Satyrs and Maenads reclaim the event just as the sun reaches his lowest point and seems to abandon us to the darkness, transforming it into a fest that brings him back with a celebration!

The festival runs in one of the city’s trendiest multi-spaces, Romantso, and it includes events such as screenings, workshops, a sex-gadget market, and a big fetish clubbing night on Saturday. More details may be found on the Satyrs and Maenads website, and tickets may be bought on this page.

In addition, it has also been decided to run another shibari bondage workshop led by Kingmaster D, after the great success it had during our own leather weekend. This will run as part of the weekend in Romantso this time. You do need to register, so please do so via this link here.
